The Boys in the Band: Boy band Hotties, Vol. I
By that we luckily don’t mean this kind of boy band. We mean this kind of boy band.
Oh yes. It’s Yeasayer. Who better to start our weekly (or possibly bi-weekly…or do we mean bi-monthly? Being bi is just soo confusing…) posts on indie band hotties than the wonderful Brooklyn quartet, who promises to always love you on their MySpace page.
Now, obviously the men of Yeasayer don’t have the typical hottie look. They don’t have Brad Pitt’s hunky arms, Johnny Depp’s sexxxxxxual appeal, or Mark Walhberg’s frontal package (and don’t try to tell us it was fake. We prefer to believe that it’s out there, somewhere). They don’t even have Adrian Brody’s androgynous beauty.
However, according to at least one half of this writer-ship, lead singer Chris Keating apparently is quite the hottie…. in person. Although he looks like a small rat in the above photo (and the vast majority of other photos available on the Internet), in person he is, and this is a direct quotation, “retarded-making” hot. Oh yes.
Now, whether his alleged hotness stems merely from the fact that he’s the lead singer of a rock band, or whether he actually is a hottie is best left up to the individual. (It’s the professional hottie scoping opinion of this writer that the truth lies in the former answer, but whatever.)
And, these hotties are coming to a town near you in the not-so distant future, if you’re lucky enough to live in or near one of the chosen cities (we are…yes we’re gloating).
Does Brad Pitt tour? Didn’t think so.
